Things I've Been Seeing

Drive to Lake Havasu (Day 98/365)

Day 98 of my 365 day project began in Crestline, CA, and ended in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Through the night and early hours of Friday morning, an icy wild storm had raged with high winds, fog, snow and dropping temperatures. When I arose, the thermometer read 24 degrees. It was so foggy and dark that I called Mike and told him we might not be able to leave for Lake Havasu at noon as we had planned. But within a couple of hours, although it stayed very cold, the weather cleared until we had bright blue skies with gorgeous white puffy clouds. Around noon we headed for Lake Havasu.

Down 138 before we reached highway 40, our eyes feasted on such scenes as this.

Some areas remained stormy.

Although most of the afternoon drive the skies looked like this. How magnificent is this world God created, and in which He placed us.
