Things I've Been Seeing

Water Color (Day 171/365)

Today with our friends, we drove into the Gila Box Canyon near Safford, AZ. There in this desert area, despite the near-record setting drought that has intensified the dryness of the area, I saw a myriad of flowers blooming this afternoon.

This flower is extremely tiny–about the size of a penny. So beautiful, this photograph reminds me of a water color painting.
