Things I've Been Seeing

My Summer Garden

It’s been great being home here in Crestline for most of the summer after being in and out for some time. Jerry and I have worked on restoring the gardens, and surprising they’re looking pretty good considering their many years of neglect.

ImagePetunias always seem to thrive–easy to grow. I love these colors.

ImageAt Ace nursery here in Crestline I bought a small flat of these green leafy vines. They have grown incredibly fast and are beautiful. Their chartreuse color against the deep tones of the petunias is striking. I’m sorry they are annuals and will die back this fall. These flow from a large stone planter at the foot of our entrance stairs.

How does your garden grow? Love to hear.
